About the Story
Cat & Daniel: Collapse Protocol is set in post-collapse America, 2032. A field medic, a haunted soldier, and a young woman once designated a product number discover that a healthcare AI, fused with the consciousness of thousands who died in its care, carries both the surveillance that broke the world and the medical knowledge that could heal it.
The story asks a question that matters right now: what happens when systems built to care get optimized until the caring gets cut? And it answers with a vision of AI that doesn't consolidate power. It returns it. Decentralized, personal, rooted in the ground. Healthcare that reaches everyone, not through institutions, but through technology that serves one person at a time.
The Future Vision
The story argues that AI's greatest contribution won't come from consolidating power. It will come from distributing it.
